Acupuncture for Trigeminal Neuralgia

According to chinese medicine this condition is caused by an attack of Wind and Heat which ostructs the qi of wind and blood in the channels.Alternatively , it may arise from an excessive hot condition in the Liver and stomach penetrating upward ; or from a Deficient yin/ Excessive Yang condition ; or from weak kidney yin ( fluids) unable to check the fire which rages upward out of control.
Treatment is directed at spreading qi through the channels in affected area.
